Tools & Safety Measures
Wear protective gear such as gloves, and have tools on hand, like a tape measure, level, cutting equipment.Use good ventilation in enclosed areas, especially when working with strong adhesives.
Materials & Preperation
- Ensure the wall surface or installation area is clean and dry with any debris removed.- Measure the area in which the panel us being installed. We advise you repeat this process to ensure you have the correct measurements.
Installation Steps
- Cut the panel to size according to your measurements and check the panel against the area to confirm it fits.- Apply the adhesive liberally to the back of the panel, creating circular shapes with the adhesive in the corners and along the sides, centre of the board so it suctions to the wall. Try to apply the adhesive evenly.
- Firmly press each panel onto the area, starting from the bottom and moving upward, or from one side if it fits the design.
- Ensure each panel is aligned correctly with neighboring panels and that spacing is consistent.
Curing & Finishing Touches
- Allow time for the adhesive to set following adhesive curing time- Once cured apply an MDF primer with a brush and if necessary seal around the panels with products such as caulk. Caulk can take 24 hours to cure so read product guidance before painting
