WUDN was born in 2024 from a love of craftsmanship and a passion for creating beautiful, sustainable interiors. Founded by Kim Jones, WUDN is all about bringing warmth, character, and creativity into homes and businesses through bespoke wood panelling.

Based on the Wirral, UK, Kim lives with her partner Richard and their young family, juggling life, work, and her love for design. Her journey into wood panelling started with a keen interest in Art & Design back in her school days at Calday Grange Grammar School. However, life took her on a different path at first—she spent 10 years in Child Health Nursing before deciding to follow her heart into the world of woodwork.

Determined to make her dream a reality, Kim attended night school to study Carpentry and Joinery, and in 2021, she launched Wirral Wood Panelling. What started as a small venture quickly grew into a trusted name in the North West, known for quality craftsmanship and a personal touch.

With an ever-growing demand for her work, Kim founded WUDN in 2024 to bring fresh, innovative, and sustainable wood panelling solutions to even more homes and businesses. But for Kim, this journey is about more than just design—it’s about inspiring other women to step into the woodworking industry and proving that skill and creativity know no limits.
