Intially Kim pursued a career in Child Health Nursing for 10 years but ventured into a new career path following her passion for wood panelling design. Kim attended night school completing a Carpentry and Joinery Diploma and founded Wirral Wood Panelling in 2021. Building a strong reputation, Kim has excelled in offering bespoke wood panelling services to local clients and businesses in the North West region.

Through her work, Kim aims to encourage other women to enter the woodwork industry

Darren studied Architecture at University and worked with Sam Teoh in Australia.

Darren founded Koa Designs in 2020. He focused upon the design and build of high-end bespoke furniture establishing contracts with the likes of Westfield London. Darren also dedicated time to mentoring and teaching woodwork in a local high school and continues to have a strong passion and desire to inspire younger generations into the woodwork industry.
